Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPC) is an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified Gold rated State Public Sector Undertaking (with installed capacity of 2099.80 MW) having 6 (six) power projects within the state and one inter-State power project. OHPC is also promoting investment in renewable energy projects and various green energy sources through GEDCOL (a wholly owned subsidiary of OHPC). The Company is also taking up new Hydro Power Projects on its own including the Pumped Storage Projects and Small Hydro Projects.
OHPC intends to recruit bright, qualified and energetic professionals to be inducted as Technical Non-Executive Trainees (TNEs) in various disciplines as per the following for their placement at various units & Project sites.

OHPC TNEs Recruitment Notification 2025 Age Limit :-
- For DET : For DETs, a candidate must not be under 18 (Eighteen) years and not above 32 (Thirty Two) years of age as on 01.08.2025.
- For Technical Non-Executive (TNE) : a candidate must not be under 21 (Twenty One) years and not above the age 32 (Thirty Two) years as on 01.08.2025.
- For MTs, a candidate must not be under 21 (Twenty One) years and not above the age 32 (Thirty Two) years as on 01.08.2025.
OHPC TNEs Recruitment Notification 2025 Educational Qualification :
- Electrical Trainee:
- HSC with ITI Certificate in Electrician and the Candidate must possess National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrician Trade
- Mechanical Trainee:
- HSC with ITI Certificate in Mechanical and the Candidate must possess National Apprenticeship Certificate in Mechanical Trade
- Welder Trainee:
- HSC with ITI Certificate in Welder and the Candidate must possess National Apprenticeship Certificate in Welder trade
- Crane Operator Trainee:
- 10th Pass and must have Workman C Permit or ITI in Crane Operator/Motor Mechanic.
- Store Keeper Trainee:
- Commerce Graduate and One-year diploma in Computer Application
- DET (Electrical) :
- Full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Engineering from recognized University/Electronics Institution/State Council of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.
- DET (Civil) :
- Full time Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized University/ Institution/ State Council of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.
