Inspector of Legal Metrology Recruitment. Recruitment to the post of Inspector of Legal Metrology in the service shall be made by way of competitive examination through written test and skill test in computer.
Age :-
Have attained the age of twenty-one years and must not be above the age of thirty-two years.
Educational Qualification :-
Must be a graduate of recognized University in Science (with Physics as one of the subject) or Technology or Engineering or Diploma in Engineering from recognized institution with three years of professional experience.

Only those Candidates who have been short listed after the written test shall be called for the skill test in computer which shall be of qualifying nature. One has to secure at least forty percent of the total marks in the skill test total marks in the skill test to qualify it.
Eligibility Criteria for Direct Recruitment :-
- be a Citizen of India
- Have attained the age of twenty-one years and must not be above the age of thirty-two years.
- Have the ability to read, write and speak Odia, and must :-
- Passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject; or passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination in non-language subject or
- Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.
- Not have more than one spouse living :-
- Provided that the government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person or there are other grounds for doing so, exempt any person from the operation of the provisions of this rule.
