Online application are invited from intending candidate to fill up 3 Numbers of post of Junior Stenographer in the Heads of Department Cadre. OSSC Junior Stenographer Recruitment – 2021.
- Candidate to be eligible to apply for the post must have passed Higher Secondary School Examination in any stream with Shorthand 80 words per minute in English & Odia.
Age Limit :- 18 years to 32 years as on 01.01.2021. The Upper Age limit relaxable by 5 years for candidates belongings to SEBC, SC, ST & all Women Candidates.

Examination Fee :- A non-refundable fee of Rs. 200/-. No fee for SC/ST/PwD Category.
Plan of Examination :-
STAGE – I :-
| English | Only Working Knowledge in English language shall be tested | 25 marks 30 Minutes | Objective type with Multiple Choices of answers to be conducted through CBRE mode. |
| Odia | Only working knowledge in Odia language shall be tested. | 25 Marks 30 Minutes | |
| Total | 50 Marks 60 Minutes |
There will be 25 questions each from English & Odia Language.
Stage – II :-
| SHORTHAND TEST (ENGLISH) | ||
| Dictation (English) | 05 minutes @ 80 words per minute | 50 Marks |
| Transcription (on Computer) | 25 minutes @ 16 words per minutes | 50 Marks |
| Total | 100 Marks | |
| Half marks shall be deducted per mistake. Qualifying shall be 33%. | ||
| Dictation (Odia) | 05 minutes @ 80 words per minute | 50 Marks |
| Transcription (on Computer) | 35 Minutes | 50 Marks |

| There shall not be any Qualifying mark | ||
Stage – III :-
