Age Limit :
A Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years on the 1st day of January, 2024 and must not be above the age of 38 years on 1st January 2024. The Upper age limit prescribed above shall be relaxable up to 05 years for candidates belonging to the categories of SEBC, SC, ST & Women Categories.
Educational Qualification :
A candidate must have possessed a degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or equivalent qualification from any university or institution recognized by any state government or the government of India.

Method Of Selection :
- The selection of Candidates for recruitment to the post of AAO Officer shall be made on the basis of Written Test and Interview.
- Written Test – It shall consists of two papers of objective types and each paper shall be of two hours duration carrying 100 marks each.
- There shall be negative marking for wrong answers with a deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong answers.
- Interview shall consist of 25 marks.
AAO Salary :
Candidates who successfully secure a position as an Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) through the OPSC AAO Recruitment 2023 will be entitled to a competitive salary package of Rs 44,900/- per month.
