Recruitment to the Post Graduate Teacher for 104 no os Government Higher Secondary Schools Under Department of School & Mass Education.

Age Limit :
- A Candidate must not be below the age of 21 years and above 38 years as on 01/01/2023.
- The Maximum age limt will be 45 years for in-service candidates TGT
- Upper age limit shall be relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to the categories SC,ST,SEBC & Women.
Educational Qualification :
- A Candidate must have Master’s Degree in Subject concerned from a recognised University and have possessed two years post Graduate Master’s Course or intergrated Six years Post Graduate Master’s Course From Regional College of Education Recognized by the NCERT.
- A Candidate must have B.E.d or equivalent degree recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi as equivalent with B.E.d from a recognized University provided that B.Ed qualification shall not be the mandatory eligibility criteria for the post of post graduate teacher in teh subjects where B.Ed. Course is not offered.
- Degre or Diploma in Computer Application is desirable qualification subject to production of the certificate in support of above qualification obtained from a recognized University or College or Institution having affiliation to a recognized University.
- B.Ed. Qualification for subjects other than Botany, Chemistry, English, Economices, Geography, History, Hindi, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, Political Science, Sanskrit and Zoology shall not be mandatory eligibility criteria for post of Post Graduate Teacher.

Method Of Selection :
- The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of carrer Assessment and personality test/Interview. There shall be total marking of 100 marks. Out of 100 marks, the Career Assessment will be 70 Marks and personality test/Interview will be of 30 marks. 70 marks of carrrer Assessment as mentioned may be calculated with the following weightage.
- Career Assessment – 70 Marks
- Matriculation – 10%
- Higher Secondary – 10%
- Bachelor Degree – 20%
- Post Graduation – 30%
- B.Ed. – 30%
- Career Assessment – 70 Marks
- Incase of Non-BE.d posts such as PGT Commerce, Anthropology and sociology etc. the weightage for Post-Graduation will be 60%.
- Viva voce test – 30 Marks

Note :
The Candidates in three times of the total nos of posts of Post Graduate Teachers in each Category shall be shortlisted and shall be called for the personality test on the basis of marks secured in Post Graduate Level, which shall be qualifying in nature.
Only those candidates, who posses the requisite qualification and fulfil other eligibility condition by closing date of submission of online applications will considered eligible.
