Notice Regarding Pattern of question paper in Main Written Examination for combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination – 2023. OSSC CGLE 2023 Mains Exam New Patten
Pursuant to Advt. No. 4004/OSSC Dated 07/10/2023 for the Post of CGLRE 2023, this is for information of all concerned that syllabus of all papers of Main Written Examination will remain same as published in Annexure-C of Advertisement. But Pattern/Format of Questions will change a little, compared to last year, (CGLRE – 2022), as noted below.
- Last Year CGLRE – 2022 Pattern of questions for general studies in Main Examination was objective type & short answer type. This year the Pattern of Question paper for General Studies in Main Written Examination will be objective type only.
- Pattern of Quesion of Mathematics will be MCQ type, Like CGLRE – 2022.
- So far as Language paper is concerned, 80 questions will be MCQ to be answered in OMR sheet. Questions about precis writing and Translation will not be MCQ and will have to be answered in Question-cum-Answer Booklet. 80 MCQs will carry 80 Marks. Translation and Precis questions will carry 20 Marks.
- All MCQ will invite negative marking for wrong Answer.
